Hi, I’m Toni Moda, the founder of Wellness YoDa.
My journey with yoga began in 2001, when I first stepped onto the mat simply looking for a physical practice. What I found was something far deeper.
Yoga became my anchor during one of the hardest chapters of my life — a time marked by depression and deep personal trauma. Movement, breath, and stillness slowly helped me rebuild from the inside out. That experience shaped everything I teach today.
In 2020, I became a certified Ashtanga Yoga Teacher, and since then I’ve continued to study with respected teachers including Yoga London, Petra Coveney (Menopause Yoga), Norman Blair (Yin Yoga), and Holly Husler (Sound Healing). I remain a lifelong student — curious, committed, and always learning.

I never offer anything I haven’t lived, tested, or experienced myself.
Every class, every meditation, every breathwork technique, every sound healing practice — I’ve walked through it first.
My teaching blends:
I speak from a place of honesty, empathy, and real-life application — not theory.
Ageing well isn’t about pushing harder.
It’s about moving with awareness, breathing with intention, and listening to your inner landscape.
Through movements, meditation, breathwork, and sound healing, I help people over 50:
This is wellness for people like you and me — grounded, mindful, and deeply human.
Yoga is not a collection of poses – it’s a set of tools.
Movement, breathwork, meditation, and stillness work together to support your body, calm your mind, and help you live with more awareness. Yoga meets you where you are and grows with you, especially as you move through life after 50.
We begin by grounding — giving your mind time to arrive in your body and in the moment.
Then we weave in gentle breathwork or simple lymphatic massage to wake up the system. From there, we move through a variety of shapes and transitions: seated, lying down, standing, balancing.
We slow everything down toward the end and finish with a guided meditation so you leave feeling centred, steady, and restored.
Because the practice feels like a soft dance for your body.
My style is floaty, connected, and fluid — we transition from movement to movement with awareness and ease.
It’s gentle, but it still builds strength, flexibility, and balance in a way that feels kind and sustainable.
Everything I teach comes from lived experience, years of practice, and deep study of how the body and mind change over time.
I offer options for every movement so you can challenge yourself or soften — depending on how you feel that day.
You’ll often see me choosing the simplest variation to show that less can be more, and that the most important thing is simply showing up.
Absolutely.
Everyone is new to my style because it’s uniquely mine — and people often say they feel completely held and included from the very first session.
I guide you gently, offer plenty of choices, and make sure you feel safe and supported throughout.
Yes — in fact, you’re exactly who this practice is for.
My classes are designed for people like you and me who want to move again, reconnect with their bodies, and feel better without pressure or performance.
We go slowly, we listen inward, and we build confidence step by step.
Anything comfortable that allows you to move freely.
Soft leggings, loose trousers, a T‑shirt — whatever feels good on your body.
Yes. Bring a bottle and sip whenever you need to.
It’s best not to eat right before practising.
Give yourself at least 1–2 hours so your body feels light and comfortable.
My classes are always adapted, but it’s important to stay safe.
Let me know before class so I can offer variations that support you. And if you’re unsure, check with a healthcare professional first.
I offer two types of Happenings:
short workshops (1.5 hours) and day retreats.
Both are designed to give people like you and me time to pause, breathe, and reconnect with ourselves.
These sessions are created as small pockets of restoration — a chance to unwind, reset, and soften.
I blend soundbaths with practices such as breathwork, reiki, cacao ceremony, shamanic journeying, and meditation.
Each workshop is crafted to help you slow down, release tension, and return to your body with more clarity and ease.
Day retreats offer a deeper, more spacious experience for your body and mind.
We spend the day moving gently, breathing with intention, chanting, eating nourishing food, receiving reiki, meditating, and resting in a soundbath.
It’s a full wellness reset — a day to step away from responsibilities and step into presence.
Because they’re created with genuine care, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of what people over 50 need to feel safe, supported, and restored.
My events are:
They offer a sense of community — a collective energy that helps you feel connected, grounded, and held.
It’s time to reflect, recharge, and simply be.
One‑to‑one sessions give you something rare — time and space fully dedicated to you. In a private session, everything is shaped around your body, your history, your energy, and your goals. You can share your experiences openly and confidentially, and I adapt the practice in real time — whether you need gentleness, strength, grounding, or emotional steadiness.
We work with the full toolkit:
movement, meditation, breathwork, and sound healing.
All tailored to where you are today.
It’s a safe, warm space where you feel seen, heard, and understood.
A practice designed for your stage of life, your pace, and your wellbeing.
